ABOUT DIANA

Diana Barton is the quintessential American beauty.  Recognized wherever she travels as Mary Jo from the hugely successful soap opera, The Young and the Restless,  Ms Barton is now being acknowledged for her fabulous line of Diana B. natural beauty products as much as her stint with the famous TV show.  Officially launched in 2006, the complete Diana B. line of beauty products is currently available in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe.

Diana B. is a remarkable product line because it heals as well as enhances.  Using restorative ingredients are at the heart of Ms Barton’s quest to help and influence women who may be troubled with skin imperfections or who experience a negative reaction to chemical-based beauty products.  With a product line that today ranges from sugar scrubs to body lotions, bath gels to face care, and soy-based wax candles to an exciting new chocolate truffle-scented, 60-second Instant Miracle Tan, Ms Barton’s unique formulas include components that are based on natural science and produced with a genuine quality that is second to none. Some of the fundamental ingredients include: cane sugar syrup from England, maple syrup, anti-oxidant green tea essence, grapefruit essence, black figs (rich in natural glycolic acids), aloe, chamomile extracts, precious marine oils, white peaches, frangipani flowers, seaweed, fruit, and herbs.

Ms. Barton developed her first product, the ‘Maple Sugar Lychee Nut Sugar Scrub’ following a trip to the exotic markets of Marrakesh in Morocco where spices and heady, aromatic fragrances flourish.  Influenced by what she saw and heard on vacation, Ms Barton experimented by developing her own sugar scrub formula and substituting the oil component with sticky sweet maple sugar.  Results proved to be successful – the unique new texture when applied to the skin left it feeling silky smooth. This was the moment that heralded a life-changing experience for Diana Barton and ignited her quest to offer women the next generation of preventative skin care products – safe to use on the most sensitive skin – and containing only the purest ingredients in each formulation.

“Maple syrup is a ‘miracle’ cure for all types of skin imperfections including sun damage, acne scarring and topical infections,” says Ms Barton. “It contains a high volume of minerals with significant healing properties and will even out pigmentation discoloration and help restore skin damage of all kinds. Other ingredients used in Diana B. body lotions and face care products are equally powerful replenishers and will help fight against free radical damage that can age skin prematurely.”

Each item within the different Diana B. product categories is named by Ms Barton and reflects some of her fondest memories and life experiences. In addition to Maple Sugar Lychee Nut which captures pungent recollections of a Marrakesh marketplace, there is also: Green Tea Desert Grapefruit -- a clean, fresh bouquet and a fragrance that reminds Ms Barton of her father and life in Palm Springs; Peach Frangipani Flower – a flirty, feminine fragrance and a sweet tribute to her sisters, and Black Fig which has a distinct essence of joi de vivre – sophisticated and chic. The latest glorious addition to her list of fragrances is the seductive scent of deep chocolate truffle, coconut and almond – found in the Diana B. 60-second Instant Miracle Tan, Chocolate Sugar Scrub, Bath Gel, Body Lotion and candle.

From kitchen beauty potions and her first attempt at a special kind of sugar scrub, it’s obvious that Diana Barton has only just reached the tip of her iceberg in terms of success. As a well-founded professional in the burgeoning ‘green’ beauty market, Ms Barton continues to reach a broad spectrum of women who have become loyal and passionate followers, true believers and users of her brand of beauty products.

The youngest of five children growing up in a warm and loving family nucleus in beautiful Palm Springs, it’s not surprising that to stand out in a crowd Ms Barton had to have a natural competitive edge and an entrepreneurial spirit.  Her ambitions led her to achieve a successful career as a model and actress in the theatre and on television and Ms Barton is equally driven as she follows her chosen career path as an innovator and business woman in the beauty industry.

Ms. Barton’s real entrepreneurial epiphany came during a vacation in exotic Morocco where, inspired by the abundant spices and fragrances she encountered in the markets, she realized that her untapped and natural instinct for making beauty recipes could be nurtured into a commercial product line which would be safe to use and benefit women all over the world.

Be Beautiful.
